Our approach to product feedback
The benefits of giving us your product feedback
What happens to your product feedback
How we choose what to implement
- Customer feedback - there are many ways we listen for your feedback:formal customer interviews and other research activitiesevents like conferences and trade showscomments and votes on issues here in Greenbyte & BluePoint Influence
- CSM team insights - our CSM team knows which issues are the most challenging and most common for customers.
- Product analytics - we track how users move through the system, which helps us understand how existing features are being used.
- Product strategy - our long-term strategic vision for the products.

Issue: "General site" pre-selected when creating task during log on process
When creating a new task during the log on process "General Site" is (hiddenly) pre-selected and not the specific turbine(s) directly. That should be changed.

Improving the display on the portfolio dashboard map
Currently the ring chart with the real time power is not clearly visible because it is superimposed on the map.

Automatically connecting a status change in case a site access is active on the turbine
Currently if a team is working on a turbine and the status is changing due to their work the new alert is not connected to the site access.
This creates a lot of extra work and does not flag any real issues and needs to be connected manually to the site access.
This would make it way more efficient to work with a dashboard which flags only new issues.9 votes -
YTD Widget
We have a situation where we track our KPIs using a custom dashboard and widget to display such figures as Production and Budget YTD.
When an asset is taken over in the middle of a production year, and the data gets backfilled, the widget no longer accurately reflects the YTD production for the time the asset has been under our ownership.
E g if we take over an asset in May, but data is available since January, the YTD widget currently displays the production for the asset from January.
In the scenario above we would want the widget to only…2 votesThanks for your feedback, this is a great request. It's open for voting from other users.

Powercurve is not accurate above 15m/s.
Today there is an assumption that beyond 15 m/s, the data points are collected into one bin. Hence the flat line behaviour for high wind speeds for the learned power curve.
This is no longer be a fair assumption if wind turbines are operating at increasingly higher wind speeds.
The power curve resolution should be the same all the way up to 25 m/s8 votes -
Filter component in Status Categorization
In status categorization it would be very handy to be able to filter on the component level. For instance to filter on "Manual pauze" in order to easily extract them from a large list and allocate the correct component.

Degraded operation formula for contractual time based availability
When an turbine implies degraded operation instead of complete shutdown (not full power when it can) the degraded operation factor shall be classified as degraded downtime for the relevant degraded Wind turbine and in accordance with the availability formula.
Example: Turbine A is operating with cooling issues, therefore the turbine can operate but not on full power, meaning it is curtailed out of safety. In normal operation the turbine is able to produce 4Mw, due to the temperature issue it can now only produce 2Mw. This means that for the time of degraded operation, the turbine availability is 50% instead…

Need a new qualification added on Breeze
Is it possible to add ‘Competent Person (CP)’ in the dropdown box on Breeze when adding in a qualification after completion of a site induction.
A CP has more limitations on the tasks they can carry out on the HV/LV system than AP and SAP. A CP id not the same as a CT.

Set up rules for automatic data export and forwarding by mail
Use case: I have to send twice a week 3-4 days of operational data of a certain set of WTGs to the client. Would be amazing to be able to implement a rule that runs the job in the background: data is downloaded and forwarded to an email address automatically.

Expand Button - entire system
This is a nice feature that should be in the entire system, specially for monitoring dashboards (not obvious which event is active during that moment) and data studio, otherwise you have to go to event log or status categorization to check them.

conditional powercurve
For conditional power curves it would be nice to have the following options:
1. copy the default values to conditonal power curve for editing, that saves time entering the values manually.
2. it would be nice to add a condition: to be able to give a start date + time and end date + time. Currently if curtailment starts at 10:00 at day 1 and ends at 16:00 at day 5 it requires you to manually enter the conditional power curve 3 times!4 votesThanks for your feedback, this is a great request. No apparent sign of a minimized widget
Minimizing a widget can mistakenly happen through double clicking.
This has great consequences on following monitoring by the control room.I would suggest:
- add a confirmation box asking if this is really wanted, to actively get aware, that you are minimizing a widget
OR
- have a short notice added to the minimized widget to get aware of the minimized widget13 votesThanks for your feedback, this is a great request. It’s open for voting from other users.

Provide the ability to manually make a stop active
Sometimes it's necessary to set a previously closed stop code back to active in Greenbyte, or the user may have to create an active stop manually. It is not possible to create the active stop today.
Making a stop active can be done by contacting Greenbyte support, however, this takes time and can be tedious for large sites with multiple stop codes to re-open.
It would improve the usability of the system and improve the overall status log functionality if it was possible to manually set a stop code as active, and not have to go through GB support each…

Trainee Personnel qualification
Is it possible to add a "Trainee" section under personnel qualifications? There are many technicians who do not have any qualifications yet and it would be advantageous for OCC etc... to be confident on the status of the technician and know to not allow them to take control of a turbine and that only site access is allowed.

HSE incident status option in the HSE table widget
We need the possibility to list only HSE cases of a certain status (resolved - unresolved) in the report HSE table widget. Currently it is not possible to have a table in the reports listing only the open = "unresolved" HSE cases.

Defining alerts based on status or warnings that have no duration
In some cases, status or warning have no duration, but inform about the beginning or the end of curtailment, for instance.
It would be useful if alerts could be set up by a status/warning code indicating the beginning of some event, and another status/warning code indicating it ended.4 votes -
Site time should match SCADA time during summer months (not just in winter!)
In summer when Australia/Melbourne shifts to Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT = UTC+11) 'Site time' does not match the Vestas wind turbines which always follow Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST = UTC+10). It would be preferable for the Site time to always match the SCADA data. Thanks!

Middle voltage loss calculation (Energy Export vs. Energy Meter) in MWh or %
When metering systems are connected to the Scada one standardized tech. KPI is to understand the middle voltage losses between WTGs and official energy metering.
Ideally such should be calculated on kWh/MWh basis as simple delta between Sum of Energy Export (WTGs) and official Metering. Additionally the % deviation should be calculated, too.Further benefits:
As Greenbyte introduced the Loss Waterfall also this calculation would benefit from the above as additional losses (depending the size of the wind farm typically 0.5 - 2.x %) could be highlighted. Additional precision for the Loss Waterfall Diagram!2 votesThanks for your feedback, this is a great request. It's open for voting from other users.
